She’s being murdered.
It was supposed to be a fun girls’ weekend in Salem, but when a past-life regression session instead sends a terrifying vision of murder to Kylie Connelly, she’s shaken and doesn’t know what to think. Worse, later she identifies the attacker from her vision: he’s a prominent local politician.
Special Agent Jon Dickson of the FBI’s Krewe of Hunters is on the trail of a suspected serial killer based on the scantest of clues and unreliable witness testimony. When he realizes Kylie’s vision might be his best lead, he must gain her trust and get close enough to guide her new talent. Though she doubts herself, the danger Kylie sees is all too real—and the pair will have to navigate a murderer’s twisted passions and deceptions to stop the killer from claiming another victim.
With an ever-growing list of suspects, ghosts, and paranormal aspects this book kept me engaged
Seeing Darkness by Heather Graham takes us back to Salem and introduces us to Kylie Connelly on a girl’s weekend, bachelorette party with her three best friends. Kylie while under hypnosis sees a vision of a brutal murder that seems all too real. Enter Special Agent Jon Dickson of the FBI’s Krewe of Hunters who is in Salem on the trail of a serial killer and thinks what Kylie witnessed may be linked to his case. An engrossing murder mystery that kept me captivated from the first page to the last. Even on Book number thirty in this series, Heather Graham never fails to deliver another fantastic addition to the Krewe Of Hunters. In this installment we see characters we have previously met and while this is a series it may be read as a standalone. Kylie is called upon to assist in the investigation even though she has reservations about her visions, she comes to trust Jon and the other Krewe members. This case was full of suspense, mystery, and as usual one or two ghosts to help along in the investigation. Kylie finds herself in danger as she has caught the attention of the killer and must rely on Jon and his team to protect her. The side romance was fun and full of chemistry, one of the aspects of this series that I love is with each book a new romance blossoms and it never gets old. The romance is not the main course and never took away from solving the case. With an ever-growing list of suspects, ghosts, and paranormal aspects this book kept me engaged. Each book in the series is as original as the first. I am highly anticipating the next book in this series Deadly Touch which takes place in Florida. With an ever-growing list of suspects, ghosts, and paranormal aspects this book kept me engaged.
